Christmas 2015 @ the Watering Hole
There is always a lot going on at this time of the year as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus. At The Watering Hole we have several events planned leading up to Christmas.
All events below are in Calmore Community Centre and are organised by The Watering Hole
Visit Israel and enjoy some Christmas Carols without leaving Calmore – Saturday December 5th 11:00am – 12:30pm
Visit the land of Jesus’ birth with Rosemary who travelled to Israel earlier this year and join in with some carols. After the travelogue enjoy a Middle East themed meal. FREE – including the meal.
Creative Arts Community Carols @ Calmore Community Centre – Saturday December 12th 6:00pm
The annual creative arts Community Carols extravaganza is here once again. This is your chance to see a great Christmas show featuring sports acrobatics, local school children, puppets and blacklight theatre. Entry is FREE but refreshments will be sold in aid of a good cause.
Christmas Lights Walking Tour – Sunday December 13th 5:00pm
Every year the Christmas lights in Calmore seem to get better and better. We will be leading a walk to view the best Christmas lights in Calmore. Leaves from Calmore Community Centre. Sorry but we cannot take unaccompanied children.
This followed by…
Christmas Sing-a-long and mince pies. Sunday December 13th 6:30pm
Enjoy some carols and other Christmas songs along with some mince pies in the Rufus Room at the Calmore Community Centre. This event is FREE
Messy Church Christmas – Saturday December 19th 11:00am – 12:30pm
This is a popular event and is a great time for families to get involved with crafts, puppets, songs and stories on a Christmas theme. FREE, no booking necessary. Sorry, no Unaccompanied children
