Community Camp on YouTube

Over the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August we organised a Community Camp at the Chapel Porth Campsite near St Agnes in Cornwall.

Among the activities on offer were cycling the Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow and back. The route is flat and takes cyclists along the Camel Estuary. This makes it ideal for families with children. In the YouTube clip below a GoPro camera was attached to brothers who set off along the trail. A child’s eye view…

One of the favourite beaches close to the campsite was Porthtowan. Not only does the Moodmaid ice-cream parlour serve the best ice-cream in the west but it as an excellent beach for surfing and bodyboarding.

Take one willing bodyboarder, strap a GoPro camera and you get action in the surf. In this case it is another child’s eye view YouTube clip.

There was a lot more happening at this year’s Watering Hole Community Camp and more photographs of the fun and games will be posted in the gallery and on our Facebook Page.

For those who are interested we will be running a smaller camp this August/September. For Crafts, Cameras and Culture Camp click on the link
