Final kayaking paddle of the season

All too quickly the paddling season at the Watering Hole is coming to an end. However, there is still one more outing to be enjoyed.

We will meet at the car park in front of the Rising Sun in Warsash (see map below) and launch from the slipway there. The plan is for the novice group to spend time paddling in the sheltered waters around Warsash before the more experienced paddlers head out either into Southampton Water or up the Hamble River towards Swanick.

Time: 11:30pm Sunday 18th September 2016

Where: Car park in front of the Rising Sun, Warsash. If this car park is full there is another 200m up the road.

It is important that we are there promptly to get kitted out and on the water to make the best use of tides. Any delay could mean a long paddle against tide and wind. Please refer to the Kayaking Kit page for  suggested checklist of what to bring. Paddles and life jackets are supplied along with a kayak. If you have your own kayak and/or equipment you are welcome to bring them along

This is the last chance to go paddling with the Watering Hole Kayak Club in 2016. We look forward to seeing you there.
