New TOTRAK Coordinator

DUO RAK

Linda-Rose Michel who came as a volunteer from Michigan, USA was the Totton Random Act of Kindness Club (TOTRAK) coordinator for almost 2 years. During her time with the Watering Hole she launched TOTRAK and coordinated all the activities. These included 31 Smiles initiative, gardening and litter picking as well as coordinating helping at Christmas and organising volunteers for events in Totton.

Sadly she had to return to the USA to continue her studies and left us in July. We wish her all the best as she continues her work and study in the land she calls home. I hear that she is having to learn US English again after the influence of us here in Britain.

Priscila Vasconcelos (on the right in the picture) is one of our new volunteers. She comes to us from Brazil and as part of her role she will be taking over as coordinator of TOTRAK. We wish her well and I am sure that before long you will be able to meet her.

There are several TOTRAK activities coming up – these are detailed below – and more in the pipeline.
