The Watering Hole
We are a group of people who have discovered that Jesus Christ is someone worth being connected to; that being connected to him makes you feel better about yourself and answers the big questions of life such as, "Who am I?", "What am I doing here?", "What happens next". Developing a friendship with Him helps us makes sense of world events and knowing Him better challenges our thinking and social values.
Based in Totton, Hampshire close to the city of Southampton, The Watering Hole has volunteers from all sorts of backgrounds and has something for everyone regardless of age, ethnicity or gender. Currently we have people who are a teachers, students, a child care worker, a quantity surveyor, a forestery worker, a baker, an editor, senior citizens and an HGV driver.
The Watering Hole is open to anyone who would like to discover friendship and how to get more out of life and think about their long term future. Our aim is "to help people live, love, learn, and laugh".
