Kayak Trip: Up the Hamble

On Sunday May 22nd the Watering Hole Kayak Club will be taking a paddle up the Hamble from Swank Slipway to the Horse and Jockey Pub, Curbridge SO30 2HB

The first hour is open to all public attending the club session. Skills will be demonstrated and kayaks supplied to beginners. All new paddlers will need to be at the slipway half an hour before the start time and will only have an hour on the water.

After the first hour session has been completed, all competent paddlers (suitable competency is assessed by the lead coach) will head towards the Horse and Jockey Pub in Curbridge for a pub lunch. After 40mins-1hr, the paddlers will return to Swanwick slipway.

The trip has been planned so that it will be tide assisted both up and down the river.
