Half-term creative competition

A creative challenge for everyone this half-term

During this Autumn half-term The Watering Hole are running a creative challenge competition.

You can either create a collage including autumnal elements or be creative in the kitchen and bake a novelty cake (See the rules below for the theme).  If you are feeling especially creative you could do both.

This challenge is open to everyone regardless of age. Remember to keep safe while you are doing the challenge. Children ask for permission and get an adult to help you with knives, ovens etc. Think about the environment when you hunt for things to use on your collage.

Rules

  • The cake and the collage must tell a Bible story. There are some ideas below if you need them.
The Easter Story
Jonah and the big fish
  • Post it on The Watering Hole Facebook Page by 6:00pm UK time on Sunday Nov 1st, 2020
  • Please give us an indication of the age of the creators (Adults, you don’t have to give away your age-just say this was made by an adult!)
  • The prize (an Amazon.co.uk voucher) will be given and will take into account age of the entrant, details, quality of work. The judges decision is final.
  • The competition is open to residents of Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
